War of the Worlds

Now lets get something straight! I HAVE NOT READ THE BOOK. I've only seen the movie. So if someone wants to kindly explain to me my follow question feel free.

First off.

1. I love alien movies
2. I love Tom Cruise movies (Well about 80% of them)
3. I love Dakota Fanning
4. Morgan Freeman does the narration. (Hell to the yeah!)

These three reasons conclude that I FLIPPING love this movie!
For those of you who don't know the story, SPOILER ALERT
Its a story about a father Ray (Tom Cruise) Who is taking care of his kids for a weekend. Robbie (who cares? Ok i'm sorry to the actor who played Robbie in the movie, I don't really like your character or your portrayal... i feel like if your gonna be a jerk. Go all the way.... study Tom Felton. Don't just have this same blank expression on your face.) and Rachel (Dakota Fanning) Aliens come down, cause  a whole lot of problems. As always Tom Cruise kicks a whole bunch of ass. At the end though the aliens die because they in short get a cold, or something of the liking, that we, as humans, already have an immunity to.

Here is my question though
The aliens, sort of create these vein plant like things, and they suck out our blood (and I'm assuming) Eat some of it, and spray it on the vein like plants like fertilizer. ok Question.... If the aliens are absorbing our blood, wouldn't they then absorb the immunities?
 Does any one else see the flaw in the movies logic.

I feel like, if they had left the spray of blood/viney things out I wouldn't be questioning it.... OR if they made a bigger point in saying "They breathed our air."

Yes, but Natalie, its called Dramatic Effect! Who cares about logic?

Blogging. AND Crepes (yum!)
But I just don't know what to blog about. Its funny because I told myself I would blog everyday....that lasted for about a month. I should try again. OK starting NOW I will blog at least once a week... about my day or something. If I blog more then once a week then grea! Huzzah for me. I'll blog about something random today.



So i'll blog about crepes! there is a a yummy looking placed called Boba and Crepes.... odd combination? yes! but i've never tried this place.... nor have i ever known anyone to try it... i"m gonna try to convince my mom to go with me, though i doubt i'll have much luck. If we go i'll do another blog on my review!! :D

Homeless pets

Hey guys!

Remember how a few years ago (2ish) Paris Hilton started carrying around that ugly little Chihuahua? and suddenly it was the big thing to have little toy breed dogs/puppies. And soon wannabe/poser/non-famous-but-wanna-appear-like-they-are-popular people started to get little puppies as well. There is clothes for your yappy, and specially made purses.

Well i want you guys to look at your local shelter, or a shelter in a city near you. Count how many Chihuahaus or Toy breed dogs there are, that are about 2ish years old.

Its sad. These stupid people get a puppy, don't bother training it, and then give it up when they can't handle a 'bad dog' Or when it becomes not so cool to have a yappy dog.
Its not a bad dog. Its a bad owner. a bad person.

If your going to adopt a dog, (ESPECIALLY A PUPPY) You keep it. You don't just give it up. Its like a child, you can't give it up because you get tired of it.

now lets get something clear. I AM NOT REFERRING TO THE PEOPLE THAT ACTUALLY HAVE TO GIVE UP THEIR DOG AND DON'T WANT TO.
Sometimes things happen, and you have to give up your pets, you loose your job, your home. whatever, I'm not referring to these people. the ones that care, and if they could, they would keep their pets.

I'm sorry there are too many chihauhau's  around 2 years old up for adoption to be a coincidence!

Halloween (Sucker Punch Sleep Hallow and Top Gun)

Already Natalie??? GEEEEEZ

Ok not my fault!

Talee is being Sweetpea from Suckerpunch for Halloween, now granted I have never seen this movie, or even heard of it, up until Talee asked for my help in making it. I'm just gonna make her coat thing... and Tal is doing the rest of it....

Also Kelly and Dan are gonna be the two main characters from sleepy hallow (the one with Johnny Depp) again, I have never seen this movie, though I have heard of it.... but only because of a Youtube Video called "a princes tale" about Snape and Lily from Harry Potter, where they use Johnnys character in Sleep Hallow as a young snape....I'm gonna make Kellys costume.... and part of Dans I THINK.

Good news is i have my sewing machine back! Which means i can sew sew sew Just in time!

And finally, there is a possiblity of me and my friend being Charlie and Maverick from Top Gun.... Those costumes are relatively easy though.... I honestly think the hardest part will be to get Brian to let me loosely stitch Mavericks patches on to his leather jacket hahaa!

At least everyone has learned and caught me early this year. instead of years past when its been the week before "Oh yeah, Nat, i need a costume"
