Day 14, Elfquest

So I'm trying to get as much done as possible while I'm still not working! I've gotten a lot done today I think, artistically wise at least. I am coloring a few pictures while I write this blog. I'm also writing in one of my many stories, that I never actually post anywhere, I just sorta write and read, and maybe have friends read it. Its pretty fun! though this one I'm actually thinking about posting on Elfquest Fan Art and maybe Deviant Art. I really like it...

If you guys don't know Elfquest then you are seriously missing out. Its a series of comic books, that I think are super creative, and exciting. SERIOUSLY I haven't met anyone that after reading them that doesn't like it. You grow sooooo attached to the characters, and it has quite a bit of a fanbase, I have meet so many great artists and friends through it. Ember is my favorite character which is why she is featured in almost every picture! haha!

Day 13, wish me luck

Ok so, i got to see my Brian last night/this morning. He is very wonderful. I love him lots!  It made yesterday the most amazing day when we made plans. I got to see my two favorites, Ellie and Brian! YAY! i love days like that, they are rare but wonderful!

So then today i went to Chilis with my dad and my brother, and i filled out an application.... Lucky enough for me i was able to talk to the manager. She said i'm what they are looking for, and that she has to talk to her manager about it... but shes going to be giving me a call!

WOOT! I'm excited! i've always liked Chili's and i'm hoping to work there!

We did a photoshoot today of our fairy costumes! :D :D :D For faire this year! It was pretty much the most fun i've had in a long time! It was EPIC!

Day 11, University?

One of the pictures I drew two days ago, I don't usually work with colored pencils so it was a real challenge. :D

ALSO I am looking in to some universities that I can attend next year because, its hard to get a job in costume design, and i'm not THAT good at it. So i'm just looking at some other career options. Including Oceanology, Zoology, Ecology and nature conservation, I'm pretty exciting because it really fits me and my personality.

I have a few in mind, including some in Maryland, Washington, Florida, and even a few in Hawaii. ^^

How cool would it be to go to school in Hawaii!? I have heard AWESOME things about this school, it focuses mainly on Oceanology and all the other majors I have in mind.  XD

I would love to go there because they offer so much, plus i love warm climates and i have heard that people are very nice there and it seems nice. I need an adventure in my life, I want to get out on my own and stuff... but at the same time I would be very scared to move somewhere so far from home, never done that.... but it could be fun.


I'm also leaning towards Maryland because I have family out there. So I would be out on my own, but I would have family out there JUST IN CASE!

hmmmmm i'll have to ponder this...and pick a major.

Day 10. "that bee looks like its humping something.....?"

So i wasn't able to get a picture of said bee, because i didn't think of it. Haha....because lets face it, Holly and I were both scared shitless. I'll admit it, I'm scared of bees.... i like honey....but i could do with out the stingers.Anyways so we sat in her hot tub, then sunbathed in my back yard, drinking ice tea and eating yummmmy.....watchamacallits....... no really i can't remember what they are called, and i'm too lazy to dig through the trash to find the box. XD

This is me and My Holly! haha! We look so similar don't we? could be twins in some of these pictures.  I've known her since preschool and it is awesome!!

In other news:
Still happy i quit my job, even though i now have no money and my parents are kinda mad at me. *sigh* oh well, gotta look for another, maybe at Build-a-bear!? *crosses fingers*
I know a lot of people are looking down on me because i keep quitting my jobs when the job market is so slim. but i'm also not going to be miserable or treated unfairly either.

Day 9, art art and more art

On my first day of being jobless I have been drawing like crazy which I must say is a very good thing! I love to draw and sometimes I just need to have a lazy drawing day! Its awesome, I love being able to sorta draw a picture and then have it turn in to something completely different!

3. Tuesday i'm doing a faerie photoshoot with my very best friend Ellie
4. So far i like not having to go to my old job. I hate my manager so much.... If you didn't know she is dating my brother, and i am praying to every single god i know that he doesn't marry her. I will be sooooo happy if they break up! Ryan if you ever read this: Please please please break up with her.

5. Website is ALMOST done! I need to upload some pictures of my ready to wear wings, and then i am DONE and i can launch it! i'm pretty excited! not gonna lie!!

Day 8 quit.

I quit my job today!

Basically my manager is the worst manager on the planet! Like kid you not, between her and the manager who bought a car on his shift. Amy takes the cake! Good job! i should make her a metal don't you think?

My mom was put in to the emergency room today because a lot of things caused her to have an episode that has similar symptoms to a stroke. So it was pretty scary to say the least.  Shes doing alright.

Long story short, Amy decided to tell EVERYONE that my mom was in the hospital. Even though that is personal information.

Things that make Amy a bad manager
1. She changed my hours via white out, didn't tell me. and then claim that she didn't however see below:

2. She has shared personal information about me to my coworkers (and exaggerated said information.) TWICE
2.5 She did this with other people as well, including medical information about Chanler. (including medication doses)
3. i had a family emergency today and she called someone in to cover my shift and then told me i couldn't go.

Good choice?

Orion (Day 5)

So I realized earlier today that there is no real reason to have the date in the title of my blog. So I'm going to call each entry by something having to do with it.

Today was Sci-Fy Day in Stage Makeup 2

I (left) was an Orian (The green women from Star Trek) You can't really see it in the picture because my camera is dumb, I was a lot greener....and my hair isn't purple. Don't you hate it when your thin in real life, but when you do a cheesy grin for the camera you get a double chin?!? wtf? You also can't see it very well but i'm wearing a chainmail halter. YUP!  Kat (middle) just sits in on our class, which is why she looks so pretty (as Always)! And Erica was Frieza (sp??) from Dragon Ball Z. I say we look pretty damn swell!

OK EVERYONE INPUT NEEDED TIME.....

I'm thinking about getting a curly hair piece, if I do Faire this year, because I love my hair curly, but I hate how much it hurts my hair, so if i'm going to be curling it every weekend....I think i'll get a wig...hair....piece...thing....

3/21/2011 (Day 4)

KITTY!
So nothing all that new to report today, cause I didn't really do anything, so I'm going to do a kind of pessimistic blog.
Today Lisa and I were thinking about going to the zoo, but it got too late in the day, so we didn't really see the point in going, but we are hoping to go some other time.

So yesterday, my brother came over with his very drunk girlfriend. I'm pretty mad at her  (before last night) Like, I used to like her, she got me a job, we used to be friends. But now it feels like she is walking all over me and using me. I don't like this feeling! Cause she made me come in to work on very very very short notice, and it made me really angry because I had school, and I had to ditch school to go to work (Luckily my teacher Nikki had canceled class that day. but still the point is, I have SCHOOL and quite frankly school is more important to me then work at some stupid clothing store.) So I was angry and was having bipolar issues (for those of you who don't know I have been treated for being bipolar for years, and lately I have been very unstable.) and I got in to an accident.... it was my fault, and I don't want to explain it.
Funny thing is I thought "I shouldn't be driving! I am way too upset." But I didn't have a choice.... now I don't have a car.
FML
And what does my brothers girlfriend do? SHE TELLS EVERYONE. and THEN calls me in to work when I'm not suppose to work....again very short notice. THEN she shows up at my house later that night completely drunk (like puking her guts up,  acting like a total inconsiderate weird bitch. I have never seen anyone so drunk....ever.)

I have no clue what to do.

My parents are very mad and disappointed in me, and i don't want to talk about it... so please don't ask. Basically something bad happened and people are greedy.

March 20, 2011 (Day 3)

Today I have decided to talk about my very best friend Ellie.

Hahahaha i don't really know whats going on with the creature that is above her hands....i swear i don't have that monster....and i'm not sure what it is..... ???????????????? But he looks very angry....


This is my best friend, her name is Ellie and we have been friends for 15 years!! WOW! Happy 15th Friendiversery! She is probably the coolest, most supportive person I know. I would probably die with out her, and I love her so much.

March 19, 2011 (Day 2)

Tocabe = FANTASTIC

So has anyone heard of this place? Its basically a Native American Chipotle its one of the yummiest places I have ever eaten. Above is fry bread with ground buffalo, black beans, corn salsa, lettuce tomato, sour cream, and onions. It was so yummy cause the fry bread is kinda sweet and every thing else is savory. YUM YUM YUM YUM YUM!

I am craving some more right now. YUM!

Ya know what else I am craving? A tomato sandwhich.... take a piece of black bread, but some mayo on it (Depending how much you like) then put some thinly diced onions, (again depending how much you like.) then put sliced tomatoes on top with salt and pepper, then consume.

Its simple but amazing!

I just realized this whole blog is about food.... hungry much?

Hello!

I'm going to try posting every day for a year. Even if its something super small, I will do it. I don't think anyone will actually read this, but hey who knows? Maybe I will get a whole bunch of views or comments. *shrug*

I'm a bit of a copier I saw my friend Brooklyn (http://brooklyntateblog.blogspot.com/) doing this and I thought it was a fantastic idea.

A little about me.
I'm Natalie

I was born on January 27th 1991. I had dark blonde hair that I frequently dye red (like in the picture above) and green eyes, I'm told they are my best feature. I'm a nerd, I always have been, not since it became cool to be one. I can prove it, when I was 5, I was so obsessed with Star Wars that I named my cat Leia. I love all sorts of movies, and its very hard for me to pick a favorite. I love animals! (better then most humans, not gonna lie) I have two tattoos! I am very creative and always have one project or another that I am working on. I get distracted easily.
I have a Deviant Art, that I am breaking the addiction of, because I don't like it! Maybe I will post pictures on here instead!

I chose to start this today, because I have had a really rough time right now, and I think that perhaps if I write about this, it might get better? I am just about as low as you can go right now and i'm not sure what to do.

The good news is I have some really great people in my life that care a lot about me, and are helping me through this. They are probably reading this right now! Hello! I love you guys!
